Terms & Conditions Of Dr Rooney
Welcome to Dr. Rooney. The website Dr Rooney (the “Site”) and Mobile application (the “App”) are comprised of various web pages and software operated by Dr Rooney. (“Dr Rooney, “Site,” “App,” “Dr Rooney,” “we,” “us,” and “our,” collectively). The “site” and the “App” are offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without the modification of the terms and conditions, and notices contained herein (the “Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully and keep a copy of them. By clicking accept, you agree to the Terms herein. All uses of Dr Rooney, Dr Rooney, the “Site” or the “App”. By clicking accept, you constitute your agreement to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. You also acknowledge that you have read, completely understand, and accepted all the “terms” throughout this document and will comply with all terms by Dr Rooney.
If you do not agree to the “terms” in this document, you will not be able to use the “site,” “App,” and/or any services offered by Dr Rooney as a member.
Dr Rooney is a licensed pharmacist with an e-commerce website and a mobile application.
ScriptCo Inc., DBA Dr Rooney, provides at-cost medications to patients with a valid prescription and an active Dr Rooney membership. Non-members pay a non-member fee of $50 per medication per transaction. Customers can do the following on the website:
- Create an online profile that includes relevant information about the customer
- Sign up for a membership
- Pay for their medications online
- Request new prescriptions
- Manage refills online
Dr Rooney as your Agent
By accepting these terms, suppose you are a non-member or a member of Dr Rooney. In that case, you are approving Dr Rooney as your agent and agreeing to allow Dr Rooney to take action on your behalf as often as necessary to carry out the following.
- You are contacting any or all of your pharmacies to request that your prescription(s) be transferred to Dr. Rooney.
- Obtain your medical information, including protected health information, from your healthcare providers and entities.
- Request your medication history.
- Request any allergies
- Request or initiate a prescription refill or auto-refill
- Request a prescription renewal authorization form from your Physician.
- We will bill your credit card for any applicable expenses (including but not limited to membership dues) unless your account is canceled before the renewal date.
Dr Rooney is your agent only for the above items and to provide the services in terms of use throughout this document. Dr Rooney will cease to be your agent if either party terminates this agreement immediately upon termination.
Your Account
If and when you use the Dr Rooney “site” or “app,” you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You may not assign or otherwise transfer your account to any other person or entity. You acknowledge that Dr Rooney is not responsible for third-party access to your account that results from theft or misappropriation of your account. Dr Rooney and his associates reserve the right to refuse or cancel service, terminate accounts, or remove or edit content at our sole discretion at any time, with or without notice.
Prescription Policy
You guarantee personally that any prescription received by Dr Rooney on your behalf is for your personal use alone. By accepting the “terms,” you agree to this statement. You also agree to read any applicable information relating to your prescription(s) that you receive from Dr Rooney. You agree to receive all patient education sheets for all prescriptions electronically (by scanning the QR code on the bottle). If you have any questions or concerns before taking medication, please speak to your provider or a pharmacist at Dr Rooney during regular business hours to clarify your questions or concerns.
Children Under Thirteen
Dr Rooney does not knowingly collect personal information from persons under thirteen, online or offline. If you are under 18, you may use https://drrooneypharmacy.com/ only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
